FASHION / RETAIL MERCHANDISING INTERN

College students looking to gain real-world experience for a fast-growing company - this is the opportunity for you! 
This opportunity allows for an intern to be a part of the team for an extended period of time (3+ months) gaining real world, hands-on experience with a chance to evolve into a full-time position. We're looking for a creative and innovative student with the ability to generate new ideas and can't wait to jump in!

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Proven ability to generate sales, add-on and develop relationships with customers
  • Store Operations and Organization: Ability to organize and lift merchandise, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
  • Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain within guidelines
  • Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error. Captures accurate information for all transactions including signatures, addresses, and original receipt data
  • Communication: Communicates effectively with Customers, Members of Management, and Store Associates
  • Knowledge of fashion trends as they apply to a streetwear company

Requirements:

  • Junior or Senior level college student
  • Has knowledge and interest in St. Louis and local events/businesses/ideals/etc.
  • Experience in retail environment & visual merchandising
  • Commercial awareness
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

The Graphic Design intern will be a creative student responsible for assisting with apparel design, marketing materials (both digital and print), and our online store. The ideal candidate will bring to the table ideas and creativity and is able to communicate and contribute to a team setting. They will gain valuable knowledge of design as it applies to the apparel industry, as well as the inner workings of a small business in St. Louis! This role will cover a variety of design jobs, and the ideal candidate will be flexible and have the ability to multi-task.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing and adjusting file types as needed
  • Assist with creating marketing content, both digitally and print
  • Brainstorm and contribute ideas in a collaborative environment
  • Creation and updates to different types of design (marketing materials/social media, apparel, store graphics etc.)
  • Update and maintain online store (Shopify)

Requirements:

  • Junior or Senior level college student
  • Has knowledge and interest in St. Louis and local events/businesses/ideals/etc.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Knowledge of social media
  • Excellent communication skills, organized, and detail-oriented

SOCIAL MEDIA/MARKETING INTERN

The Social Media Intern will assist in coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook and Instagram. This role offers the intern real-life experience in social media and marketing campaigns, analytics, and strategy.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assist in social media community management
  • Bringing new ideas and strategies to increase followers and engagement
  • Understanding and monitoring analytics
  • Email marketing and SEO
  • Research and implement marketing strategy

Requirements:

  • Junior or Senior level college student
  • Has knowledge and interest in St. Louis and local events/businesses/ideals/etc.
  • Experience with Instagram and Facebook outside of personal accounts
  • Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short- and long copy
  • Excellent communication skills

PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN

Arch Apparel is seeking a creative photography intern who is looking to get real-world experience, specifically within the commercial industry. The ideal candidate will come to the table with new ideas and visions, and be able to work collaboratively with a team. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Produce content for Arch Apparel Instagram and Facebook account
  • Work alongside our in-house photographer and with the brand creative team to ensure delivery meets expectation in every frame
  • Set up and break down shoots
  • Maintain proper file asset management, image review, and metadata
  • Assist in collaboration efforts, capturing both brands/businesses

Requirements:

  • Junior or Senior level college student
  • Has knowledge and interest in St. Louis and local events/businesses/ideals/etc.
  • Owns DSLR camera
  • Exceptional knowledge of editing programs such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • Experience in creating commercial and lifestyle imagery
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
